We're looking for a Senior Process Safety Engineer to join our LPG Operational Integrity team on a 12 month limited term contract. Supporting one of Australia's largest LPG networks, including 45 terminals and 11 Major Hazard Facilities (MHFs), you'll play a pivotal role in managing process safety risk, supporting regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement across the business.

About the role

Reporting to the Group Manager – Retail Commercial & Credit Portfolio, you'll be the end-to-end commercial owner for Community Energy Services (CES) with over 487k customers & $100m EBITDA. Working closely with senior leaders across the business, you'll shape commercial strategy, optimise pricing and portfolio performance, and use commercial insight to drive sustainable growth, protect value and influence key business decisions.

Helps steer the commercial strategy for the CES portfolio , translating priorities into clear initiatives and measurable outcomes.

About the role

Based at our Gladstone LPG Terminal and working closely with the Asset Delivery Manager, you’ll be responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of LPG products to domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers across the region.

Safety is at the core of everything we do. In this hands-on role, you’ll help ensure Origin continues to meet customer needs while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance, operational excellence and customer service.

Key responsibilities

Safely deliver LPG cylinders and bulk LPG to residential and commercial customers
Load and unload LPG tankers within and outside the LPG Bulk Terminal
Refill LPG cylinders of all sizes and complete cylinder retesting in line with Origin procedures
Complete daily, weekly and monthly vehicle checks and associated documentation
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
Upload Touch PC data at the completion of each shift
Identify and report customer site installation defects or hazards in the required format
Participate in safety activities, including HSE meetings, observations, emergency response, incident reporting and audits
Carry out general terminal maintenance, housekeeping and cleaning duties

To succeed in this role, you’ll have experience in a transport or logistics environment and a strong commitment to safety. You’ll also have:

A minimum HR licence - essential

About the role

Working in Retail Operations, you'll be at the heart of everything we do - working with customers. Reporting to a Customer Operations Leader, you'll be delivering end to end customer service, supporting our Residential customers via phone and email across our gas, electricity and broadband portfolios.

Gone are the days of customers getting stuck in a never-ending loop of being transferred between departments, you'll be fully trained in every aspect of customer experience and be able to help with any problem.

This role works on a rotating roster between 7am - 6:30pm Monday - Friday. Initial training, 4 weeks, which is held in office, full time for that 4 weeks.

You must be available to work across these hours.
