About the role

We're seeking a safety-focused Terminal Operator to join our LPG Distribution team at Bulwer Island on a 6-month limited term contract. Reporting to the Terminal Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the LPG terminal, including filling LPG cylinders, loading and unloading vehicles, maintaining stock levels and completing routine inspections and testing. Working a night shift 1pm - 11pm, you'll play an important role in ensuring LPG products are safely processed and delivered to customers while maintaining Origin's high standards of safety and operational excellence.

• Safely receive, unload, fill and dispatch LPG cylinders and bulk LPG products.
• Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the LPG terminal.
• Conduct equipment inspections, testing and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records.
• Identify, report and address safety hazards and operational issues.
• Contribute to a strong safety culture and compliance with industry regulations and procedures.

What will you bring?

• Current Forklift Licence.
• Experience in a logistics, manufacturing, industrial or operational environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding manual tasks.
• Experience handling hazardous substances and/or a Senior First Aid Certificate will be highly regarded.
