About the role:  

 

As the Terminal Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to execute local-level tasks in line with the business strategy and objectives. Proficiency in all operational activities, including cylinder filling and delivery of both cylinders and bulk LPG, is essential. You'll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to the local HSE Improvement plan and site and vehicle-based compliance. Driving cultural change and optimising team performance are key aspects of this role. Additionally, you'll support the Terminals Manager in collecting and analysing performance data to achieve both location-specific and national goals effectively.

  • Providing consistent and visible leadership across the area of responsibility
  • Accountable for ensuring that site can demonstrate a safe, well maintained and compliant terminal and fleet
  • Site Safety Management – Provide support for Terminal Manager for maintaining compliance of Petroleum & Gas Safety and Production Act
  • The ability to anticipate change, risk or results required to achieve objectives – responding to business needs and communicating this with the Terminal Manager on a daily basis
  • Provide support to the Terminal Manager on maintaining compliance with internal and external audit, license & regulatory bodies
  • Manage the day to day measurement and monthly loss/gain performance issues, while strictly adhering to the quality improvement process
  • Training compliance with operating procedures, operator qualifications and various other corporate training requirements

 

What will you bring?  

 

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
  • Must have excellent people skills and be able to inspire people to have the desire to deliver results and a great customer experience
  • A demonstrable understanding of managing budgets, through to the desired outcomes
  • Have a valid HR class licence
  • Dangerous Goods Licence desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrable road transport experience
  • Demonstrable experience working with LPG cylinders / bulk deliveries highly desirable
