About the role:

The primary purpose of the position is to effectively supervise & manage the Service and Installation (S&I) function within North & Central Qld region. This includes the safe and cost-effective service, maintenance, and installation for Origin owned assets on residential, industrial, and commercial customer sites in line with requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Accountable for the delivery of the LPG Service & Installation initiatives roadmap and the ongoing improvements related to service and installation work.
• Leader of safety for our people, community, and environment, whilst maintaining assets in-line with legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Service & Installation performance & service
• Compliance - SAP / Maintenance / Regulatory
• Safety Performance & Culture – Learning Organisation
• Maintenance & Training will be under control
• Training Maintained at 95-100% - Maintenance activity delivered on time / budget
• S&I management – coordination, quotes, reporting etc.
• Contractor management
• Technical training of other staff
• Safety and Hazard Management
• Employee induction/training and Contractor Management
• Manage and implement the preventative maintenance/asset management for Customer sites (Includes Insitu Bulk Tanks and Cylinder Testing), ensuring that all required documentation is available
• Regulatory compliance

To be considered for this role you will have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships with key stakeholders.

You can show, through the work you’ve done:

• Trade or technical qualifications with a mechanical engineering background.
• Technical Service and Installation skills
• People management
• A driver's license suitable for all vehicles driven, or the ability to obtain
• Demonstrated supervisory/management capability
• Experience working in hazardous environments
