About the role:

Are you ready to power up your career? As a Mechanical Plant Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our power station. You’ll be hands-on with plant operations and maintenance, working in a supportive team environment where safety and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain power station equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal performance standards are met.
• Execute routine and non-routine maintenance activities on Gas Turbines and associated equipment.
• Participate in incident analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the planning and scheduling of daily and weekly activities, including participation in the site call-out roster.
• Foster strong communication and positive working relationships across the Operations business unit.

What will you bring?

• Applicable trade license and proven experience in a similar heavy industry role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with solid computer literacy.
• Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and Permit to Work systems.
• Organised, self-starting approach with the ability to manage your workload independently.
• A commitment to safety, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.
• Knowledge of and understanding of HMI’s and SCADA systems highly regarded.
