About the role:
Based in Origin’s Bulwer Island terminal and working closely with the Logistics Manager and Leading Hands, you'll be responsible for the effective and safe delivery of LPG products to Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, and Autogas customers. With a focus on safety and OH&S compliance, you will ensure that Origin is meeting needs of our customers across the region.
The role also offers a great work-life balance, operating Monday to Friday on a five-day roster, with no weekend work required.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of LPG to customers across Brisbane metro, regional Northern NSW and Southern Qld.
- To load and/or unload LPG tankers (where required) both within and outside of the Terminal as per Origin procedure.
- General maintenance and cleaning duties of vehicles
- Complete multiple deliveries from the LPG Bulk Terminal
- Participation in safety activities including HSE meetings, observations, emergency response, incident reporting and audits
- Ensuring that deliveries are made in an accurate and timely manner as per the daily scheduled requirements
- Undertake and complete daily and as required checks of assigned delivery vehicles and complete appropriate checklists in accordance with Origin Energy Operational Procedures and NHVL
- Reporting any customer Site Installation Defects or Hazards in the required format
What will you bring?
- Experienced working in a logistics environment
- A HC Licence is required for this role
- Dangerous Good licence and experience (min 5 years) with Dangerous Goods road transport is essential
- Experience adhering to health and safety requirements, especially whilst working autonomously
- Good customer service skills to be used when meeting Origin Energy customers
- A good team player with respect for shared assets and helpful with loading other vehicles
