About the Role

 

This role is focused on growing Origin's LPG presence across the Perth region.  You'll balance winning new business with providing consistent, high-quality service to an existing portfolio of customers.  

 

Day to day, you'll be out in the field meeting customers, identifying opportunities and building relationships. You'll take ownership of your territory - from building prospect lists and reaching out to new customers, through to securing deals and supporting onboarding.  Alongside this, you'll stay connected to your existing customers, ensuring they're supported and identifying ways to grow those relationships over time. 

 

You'll also work closely with internal teams to bring new customers on board safely and efficiently, including supporting approvals and ensuring everything is set up correctly from a commercial and compliance perspective. 

 

Travel is a regular part of the role, including local customer visits and up to ~30 days of broader travel annually. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving new business growth and expanding existing accounts
  • Building and managing a strong sales pipeline
  • Using CRM (Salesforce) to track activity and performance
  • Partnering internally to deliver safe, compliant cusotmer solutions

 

 

About You

 

You are someone who enjoys working with customers and takes ownership of your results.  You are comforable building new relationships, having commercial conversations, and following through to deliver outcomes.  

 

You bring a practical, organised approach to managing your work, and you are confident working independently acxross a large region.  You do not need to come from energy, but you do need to be comfortable learning a technical product and applying it in a cutomer setting. 

 

You will bring: 

  • Experience in sales or business development, or clear capability and drive to learn and succeed in business to business sales
  • Confidence in building pipeline and converting new business opportunities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with customers
  • A current driver's license and willingness to travel regularly
