About the Role:
As Group Manager, WA, you’ll lead Origin’s Centralised Energy Services (CES) operations in Western Australia. Reporting to the General Manager CES & New Property, you’ll be responsible for driving strategic growth, operational excellence, sales and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of high-rise residential and commercial developments. This role combines leadership, stakeholder engagement, and commercial accountability, with a strong focus on team culture and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Origin CES in WA as the senior Retail leader, building strong relationships with regulators, developers, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead the WA CES team across sales, operations, and service delivery, ensuring alignment with national strategy and local market needs.
- Drive business development and account management, achieving annual customer growth targets and expanding Origin’s footprint in high-rise developments.
- Oversee operational performance, including billing, metering, and service delivery, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Manage financial and human resources, including budget oversight, recruitment, and team development.
- Ensure compliance with Origin’s standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

You’re confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels and have a track record of delivering results through collaboration and innovation.
You’ll bring:
- Extensive experience in senior leadership roles, ideally within energy, property, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven P&L responsibility and commercial acumen.
- Strong background in sales, marketing, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive culture, and manage change.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, HR, or a related field.
