About the role:

We are seeking a highly qualified Terminal Supervisor to join our team in Mount Isa. As the Terminal Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of our terminal operations. This key leadership role requires strong operational management skills, a focus on safety and performance, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Additionally, we are open to considering applicants residing in Brisbane or Townsville who are willing to work on a 2/1 roster FIFO (fly in/fly out), providing a unique work-life balance opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide consistent leadership and drive business improvement in areas such as growth, financial performance, safety, and engagement.
• Perform gas fitting maintenance and installations, ensuring a safe and compliant terminal and fleet.
• Develop and implement a 5-year plan for terminal maintenance, upgrades, and capital investments.
• Monitor and address performance issues, maintaining compliance with audits, licenses, and regulations.
• Manage scheduled shutdowns and throughput, while fostering strong customer relationships.
• Ensure training compliance, manage contractors, and adhere to directives and policies.

What will you bring?

• 5 years minimum experience in a similar industry, managing people, logistics, and executing maintenance activities
• Current MR Licence
• Trade qualifications in Gas Fitting (Certificate IV), Permit Authority (or willingness to obtain), and Dangerous Goods Licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong management skills, leading teams by example to deliver business outcomes
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and fostering a strong safety culture
• Excellent communication skills, ethical values, and accountability, with the ability to inspire and drive change effectively
• General Understanding of managing budgets, through to the desired outcomes.
