About the Role

This role sits within Origin’s Customer Solutions (S&I) area — a specialist national team responsible for industrial gas installation, maintenance, upgrades and breakdown services. Working closely with Customer Solutions Managers and our network of qualified gas fitters (including Type B specialists), this role acts as the commercial growth engine for the function.

Reporting to the National Customer Solutions Manager, this senior position is responsible for growing our commercial and industrial Service & Installation portfolio nationally. You will lead the identification, development and conversion of new business opportunities across LPG, Natural Gas and associated maintenance, installation and upgrade services — driving sustainable revenue growth and long-term customer partnerships across priority sectors.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute a national growth strategy aligned to revenue and margin targets
• Expand maintenance and installation services within existing LPG customer accounts
• Secure new-to-Origin commercial and industrial customers
• Lead complex commercial and technical discussions, proposals and contract development
• Build and maintain a strong, forward-looking sales pipeline
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations and technical teams to deliver compliant, high-quality outcomes

Brisbane is the preferred base, with regular local customer engagement and interstate travel as required.

About you

You are a commercially astute, technically credible business development professional who thrives in specialist B2B environments. You’re confident engaging industrial customers — from operational managers to business owners — and comfortable navigating detailed technical conversations while maintaining a strong commercial lens.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Significant experience in commercial or industrial B2B sales
• Exposure to gas, energy, industrial services or a related technical field
• Demonstrated capability building and converting strategic sales pipelines
• Experience managing complex proposals, pricing and contract negotiations
• Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of margin and P&L drivers
• A proactive, resilient and relationship-focused approach aligned to a safety-first culture
