About the role

We're looking for a Telecommunication Site Maintenance tech to join our Condabri team. This role is responsible for monitoring, repairing, maintaining, and improving the numerous communications systems in the Origin network. The position exists as communications is key to the safe, efficient extraction of Gas across all facilities. Without a reliable, robust communications network constantly being monitored and maintained, the network would degrade rendering everyday operations unsafe and very inefficient.

More about the role  

• Perform maintenance and repair on network components in the Origin communications network
• Review/assist with maintenance activities and methodology
• Install and oversee the build of various communications technologies for the Origin Communications network
• Supervise all personnel engaged in telecommunications commissioning activities
• Demonstrate HSE Leadership and encourage appropriate HSE behaviours on site
• Mentoring and Support for Telecommunications Trainees

More about you 

• Experience in testing, commissioning & maintenance of communication networks
• Experience with working within a Permit to Work System.
• Sound understanding of Health Safety and Environmental practices.
• Experience with a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Origin’s is currently SAP
• Ability to manage a workload
• Proven experience in similar roles.
• Good computer literacy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent reporting skills
• Current Drivers Licence
