About the role
We're looking for a Pipelines Mechanical Supervisor to join our Asset East team in Condabri. This role is responsible for supporting the Condabri Facilities and Pipelines Superintendents in the coordination and delivery of operations and maintenance of the steel gas pipeline network across all APLNG assets, to ensure the asset is maintained safely, reliably and compliantly while maintaining integrity to maximise the design life and meet current and future gas transport and supply requirements.
Visual demonstrated HSE leadership is an essential element of this role.

- Site Safety Manager - Accountable for ensuring our people (contractors, visitors and employees) are safe and that we comply with all necessary regulatory and organisational processes, procedures and regulations.
- Provide input, guidance and expertise to assist with the production of schedules for maintenance of the APLNG pipeline assets, stations, facilities and the ROW.
- Coordination, planning and execution of assigned maintenance and pipeline survey activities. (Right of way patrols, E&I maintenance, pigging activities, commissioning, hazardous area inspections, CP surveys, coating repairs) Manage field staff and allocate work to coordinate and prioritise work schedules and forward work programs.
- Respond to breakdown and corrective work
- Administer record keeping processes to obtain accurate accounting of costs and coding and assist with forward budgeting and planning.
- Assist with community relations and monitor third party activity along the pipeline route.
- Liaise with the BCCR and communicate daily operations requirements to Pipelines field operations.
- Identifying and managing risk in pipeline operations and maintenance.
- Liaises with Gas Processing Facilities, Water Treatment Facilities and Downstream (Curtis Island) operations managers to ensure overall operations strategy is an integrated approach
- Assist HSE with relevant risk reviews

Desirable requirements
- 5+ years gas transmission pipelines operations and maintenance experience
- Project and commissioning experience
- Design principles and risk review knowledge well regarded
- Contract management experience
