About the Role

We're looking for a I&E Technician to join our Asset East team in Condabri. This role is responsible for providing technical capability for on-going maintenance of new and existing electrical/instrument equipment across the Condabri Asset.

2 weeks on 2weeks off Roster, can be either local or FIFO out of Brisbane.

• Review/assist with maintenance activities and methodology
• Review tooling and facilities for maintenance activities and provide recommendations
• Maintain a high-level focus on safety and the environment
• Provide technical assistance for maintenance/ reliability activities.
• Assist the operations and maintenance teams to meet overall team objectives
• Assist in commissioning activities as required
• Active participation in work permit and JSA activities to ensure a safe work environment for all employees during commissioning tasks
• Hands on Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance of various types of Electrical/Instrument equipment (EEHA)

More about you

• QLD Electrical Trade Licence
• Certificate III or Cert IV with demonstrated experience in Instrumentation and Control
• Experience in testing, commissioning & maintenance of electrical and instrument equipment in a hazardous area
• Experience with working within a Permit to Work System.
• Experience in interpreting electrical schematics, circuit diagrams and P&ID’s
• Sound understanding of Health Safety and Environmental practices.
• Experience with a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Origin’s is currently SAP
• Ability to manage a workload, plan and work autonomously
• Proven experience in similar roles.
• Good computer literacy

Desirable requirements

• Experience in testing & commissioning of LV Electrical systems
• EEHA qualification and experience
• Solid experience in industry or equivalent experience
• Experience with Hart instrumentation protocol
• Yokogawa PLC & DCS
• Formal High Voltage Qualification (Desirable)
