About the role:
Lead a telephone-based sales team (inbound & outbound roles) and a dedicated account management team in a contact centre-based environment, while supporting the field based regional sales teams.
The LPG Business Sales Centre is a sales and account management contact centre environment with a blend of inbound and outbound sales consultants, dedicated telephone-based account managers (Premium Business Consultants) and a national multisite account manager role.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the LPG Business Sales Centre customer portfolio which includes SME customers across commercial & industrial, SME, Autogas, and national accounts; across industry segments including manufacturing, construction, transport, mining, hospitality, tourism, agriculture, education & health
- Manage the SME customer portfolio to ensure volume, margin and net customer targets are achieved within budget
- Develop a highly engaged sales team that delivers a high-performance sales culture across LPG Business Sales Centre
- Identify opportunities for improved sales effectiveness, support Salesforce enhancement, AI development
- Work across departments to advocate the project and ensure all departments are aware of the project deliverables
What will you bring?
- Previous sales management experience in a contact or call centre environment is essential
- Experience coaching & mentoring phone-based sales teams
- Proven ability to develop ideas into operational frameworks
- Expertise in executing diverse business programs
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Sales Force or similar CRM, and Microsoft Office
