About the role

Join Origin Zero as the new Marketing & Communications Specialist to apply your skills in implementing a creative, engaging communication strategy, supporting Australian’s transition to electric vehicles.

Origin is committed to advancing Australia's energy transition. Through Origin Zero, enterprise-level customers are assisted in achieving quantifiable progress towards net zero goals with solutions such as electric vehicles, solar energy, batteries, and additional options.

As part of eMobility, you will be responsible for marketing and communications that prompt action and deliver growth. You will engage with Australian businesses and their employees as they adopt EV Salary Packaging programs and electrify their fleets. This role involves developing and executing multi-channel strategies that effectively reach customers, partners, and internal teams—transforming insights into impactful campaigns aimed at driving acquisition, engagement, and retention. In this role, you will;

• Bring our EV solutions to life with content that informs, inspires, and converts.
• Build and execute integrated campaigns that support product launches and customer activation across B2B and B2C channels.
• Develop and optimise email marketing journeys via Braze and Salesforce to deepen customer engagement and accelerate uptake.
• Lead the way on content development—from customer communications and copywriting to events, webinars, and digital assets.
• Work hand-in-hand with our Strategic Marketing Manager, Sales, and Customer Relationship teams to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

What will you bring?

You will be a strategic storyteller and results-driven marketer who thrives on turning bold ideas into compelling content and high-impact campaigns. You bring energy, initiative, and a customer-first mindset—always looking for smarter, faster, more effective ways to connect. Here’s what will set you up for success:

• 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, content strategy or email marketing, ideally in fast-paced or transformational environments.
• A deep understanding of customer journeys and the ability to engage diverse B2B and B2C audiences through the right channels.
• Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills, with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for well-crafted, high-performing content.
• Hands-on experience with email and CRM platforms like Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar.
• A proactive, self-starting mindset with the confidence to work autonomously and bring fresh ideas to the table.
• A strong collaborative spirit, with the ability to build great relationships and deliver results in cross-functional teams.
