As part of the Employee Development & Inclusion team, this role reports to the Head of Culture, Leadership & Learning.

Your primary focus will be to develop, implement and manage enterprise-level learning solutions to support strategic objectives. In this hands-on role, you will leverage your experience as a SME in adult learning to play a key role as a strategic thought partner and innovator delivering high quality, expert solutions.


You will:

  • Deliver key projects and initiatives supporting the L&D Strategy & Origin People Plan
  • Use internal consultancy methodology to design and deliver learning solutions that raise performance and capability through creativity and efficiency
  • Ensure appropriate governance and reporting processes to support data-based decisions on strategy and design.
  • Evaluate and advise on appropriate delivery modes for specific programs
  • Apply project management methodology to manage progress on development solutions
  • Manage vendors including budgets and contracts
  • Collaborate and lead work with teams across P&C and vendors to ensure successful implementation and transition of work to embed sustainability of the solution
  • Act as point of reference for queries through People Connect
  • Work closely with Learning Program Managers in the business as part of the Learning Panel to ensure consistent enterprise methodology and delivery of fit-for-purpose solutions.


  • Drive constant improvement of learning and knowledge platforms including the L&D Hub, Learning People Central (LMS) and LinkedIn.
  • Manage the update and maintenance of learning products


  • Support L&D initiatives including building strong rapport with learners and facilitators, to champion our learning culture and brand



The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience and ability to deliver L&D solutions for organisational wide projects in a centre of expertise environment, ideally supported by relevant tertiary qualifications.  More important will be your ability to work at pace managing competing priorities and complex projects and manage a wide variety of stakeholders.


You will also have, or be able to show:

  • Proven ability to build and develop key relationships across the business collaborating as appropriate
  • Experience coordinating key improvements to L&D processes and systems
  • Working knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design and a variety of learning methodologies
  • Awareness of modern L&D learning, principles and the latest trends and themes
  • L&D design and facilitation experience
  • Built and managed relationships with key stakeholders to achieve quality output with a cost mindset and meet positive outcomes
  • Effectively managed challenge and conflict and been resilient to deliver
  • Human-centred approach placing the learner front of mind using simple, effective principles
  • Experience of working with a learning management system
  • Exceptional attention to detail
