About the role: 

Take responsibility for leading the development and delivery of content across our digital sales channels. Working between the marketing and digital sales teams, you will be instrumental in developing and optimising content that boosts customer acquisition and drives sales. You will craft communication materials of varying styles and formats that tell stories, solve problems and help the business attract and engage prospective customers.  

 

Key responsibilities:  

  • Development of written conversion-focused content impacting and improving our highest value online sales journeys 

  • Drive aquisition metrics with content strategy, ideation and execution   

  • Take ownership of Origin’s brand guidelines and brand voice and act as one of the key Brand Guardians, ensuring it is applied consistently  

  • Apply customer centric and design thinking, including using analytics and testing, to optimise content that drives customer acquisition and retention 

  • Contribute to our growing CRO function by working closely with the optimisation and personalisation manager 

  • Relationship management with external agencies or internal design resources where applicable 

 

What will you bring?  

  • You will be an experienced and passionate Content Designer who with a keen feel for commercial outcomes. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to juggle multiple, competing deliverables and deadlines, manage stakeholder expectations and apply a ‘progress over perfection’ mindset. You will also be able to demonstrate:  
  • Extensive experience in crafting and delivering content in a dedicated sales content role, and/or a business environment focused on sales and acquisition  

  • Experience in a UX / CX environment using design-centered thinking 

  • Ability to use data to make decisions  

  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and a strong ability to manage and influence stakeholders 

  • A tertiary qualification or industry experience in marketing, design, communications or similar 

  • Expert / emerging skills across process and communication tools like Asana, Slack, Jira, Confluence, GSuite, and GitHub.
