About the role:

This role supports Origin’s LPG and broader Retail businesses by delivering customer analytics that shape both tactical decisions and long-term strategy.

You’ll work across Sales, Marketing, Product, Digital, Strategy, and Future Energy teams to provide insights that drive customer experience, growth, and market performance.

By uncovering customer behaviours and needs, the role plays a key part in strengthening customer value propositions and delivering commercial outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders to understand business problems and shape analytics opportunities.
• Build a deep understanding of business unit priorities and translate these into actionable insights and data-driven opportunities.
• Lead customer analytics initiatives across journeys, segmentation, retention, and commercial performance to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Communicate and align the data and insights roadmap across teams, managing dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
• Apply expert knowledge in analytics and customer insights to guide the design, development, and delivery of data products.
• Translate complex insights into clear, compelling stories and visualisations for non-technical audiences.
• Manage projects and mentor junior team members to ensure high-quality, consistent delivery of analytics and insights.

Skills & Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in analytics or insights roles, ideally within a retail or consumer-focused environment.
• Proven capability in customer analytics, including segmentation, LTV modelling, churn analysis, and retention strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and shape decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business priorities into analytics initiatives that drive measurable commercial outcomes.
• Advanced data analysis skills, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, with the ability to integrate and interpret complex data sources.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage projects, prioritise effectively, and collaborate within a team environment.
