About the Role:  

 

As the Channel Effectiveness Lead within the SME Sales team, you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence across our channel partner network. Your primary focus will be on supporting data and process management related to sales commission reporting, as well as leading change management initiatives that enhance partner performance. You'll collaborate closely with Channel Managers and build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic, commercial, and financial objectives are achieved and exceeded. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Drive Sales Outcomes – Focus on achieving gross sales targets, channel efficiency, and reducing cost per sale through continuous optimisation.
  • Sales Pipeline & Channel Support – Maintain a strong sales pipeline, support effective channel plans, and ensure opportunities are completed on time.
  • Business Insights & Reporting – Provide regular updates and insights to support customer segmentation, product development, and competitive strategies.
  • Training & Compliance Oversight – Identify training needs for third-party channels, facilitate programs, and conduct field assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement – Support development and improvement of operational frameworks and internal efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder & HS&E Management – Maintain strong relationships across teams, manage field sales communications, and ensure adherence to Origin’s health, safety, and environmental standards.

 

About You:

 

  • You will have proven analytical skills, attention to detail and advanced Excel capabilities. 
  • You’re commercially minded with a clear understanding of sales performance drivers such as conversion, cost per sale, and pipeline management.
  • You bring a solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within a sales or channel environment ideally gained in the energy industry.
  • You’re a confident communicator who can build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy solving complex problems, and are proactive in driving process improvements.
  • Ability to use salesforce and other CRM solutions for campaign delivery
