The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our high performing LPG Sales team as a Regional Business Manager for the Beechworth and Greater North Eastern Victoria area. You’ll be responsible for proactively driving the success of your region through planning, prospecting and portfolio selling Origins suite of products as well as providing ongoing account management. Your focus will be on LPG and Industrial Gases but you will also lead the way by acting as a value adding brand ambassador for all of Origin’s products and services. This is your chance to take charge of your territory, hold commercial accountability for your market and maximise contribution to the National Sales Budget.

 

Your responsibilities will include;

 

  • Driving new business sales, to ensure both sales volumes, customer numbers and gross margin targets are achieved
  • Leading the growth of your region by winning new business through competitor and market analysis, building prospective lists, marketing, cold calling and network referral approaches
  • End to end account management including conducting reviews, customer meetings and management plans
  • Compliance with Origin HS & E, codes of practice, standards, policies and operating procedures

Is This You?

You’ll need to be driven, energetic and entrepreneurial, with a proven ability to be self-motivated and build successful relationships – both internally and externally. Your tenacity, resilience and persistence will be evident in both your work ethic and sales approach. A Technical Aptitude and experience is desired, but not essential.

To be considered for this role you will have;

  • Commercial & Industrial selling experience (B2B)
  • Evidence of Successful Cold calling experience
  • Demonstrated sales pipeline building
  • Extensive end to end account management experience
  • A proven sales record and ability to add value in the selling process
  • The Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Be comfortable operating independently and autonomously driving your business
  • Live within the vicinity of Albury, Wodonga, Wangaratta or Beechworth and hold a current driver’s license
