About the Role
The Product Portfolio Lead is a key member of the Retail team. Working closely with the insights, pricing, technology and delivery teams you will develop, optimise and launch products that deliver strong commercial outcomes and exceptional customer experiences across Origin’s residential electricity and natural gas product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the product vision and roadmap across core, sustainability, partnerships and future energy solutions
- Balance share (net customer position) and value (margin) objectives through product and pricing strategies
- Partner with Customer Insights, Analytics and Energy Specialists to inform product design and innovation
- Develop business cases, pricing proposals and go-to-market recommendations
- Translate product strategy into user stories and business requirements, supporting delivery and automation
- Lead cross-functional working groups and provide clear progress and milestone reporting to senior stakeholders
About You
You are a commercially minded product leader who enjoys working at the intersection of customer, market and strategy.
You will bring:
- Strong experience leading product and pricing strategy in complex, customer-facing environments
- Proven commercial and analytical capability, including business case development
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable product outcomes
- Experience working with technology teams on product development and delivery
- Confidence influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders across multiple functions
- Clear communication skills and a structured, outcome-focused approach.
