About the Role

At Origin, we're transforming the way our enterprise platforms support the business, and we're looking for a Principal Functional Analyst to help lead our SAP Finance technology journey.As a senior member of our ERP & Reporting team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. Supporting critical business functions across Finance, you'll combine deep functional expertise with strategic thinking to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that maximise business value.Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers and delivery teams, you'll provide technical leadership, mentor functional analysts and influence the future direction of our SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, enhancement and continuous improvement of Origin's SAP S/4HANA landscape across SAP Finance (with a strong focus on General Ledger, Controlling, Fixed Assets, Project Systems, Group Reporting and Joint Venture Accounting) and integrated business applications.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand complex business challenges and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Provide functional leadership across enhancement initiatives, incident resolution and business-critical projects.
• Drive backlog refinement, solution design and business process improvements to maximise value from the ERP platform.
• Mentor Functional Analysts and delivery partners, promoting SAP best practice and high-quality solution design.
• Provide governance and quality assurance across solution design, testing and production deployments to minimise business disruption.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and external vendors to deliver robust, integrated solutions.
• Evaluate new SAP capabilities, releases and emerging technologies, contributing to technology roadmaps and innovation planning.
• Support Agile delivery through active participation in planning, refinement and other Scrum ceremonies.

About You

You're a senior SAP Finance Functional Analyst who enjoys solving complex business problems and influencing enterprise technology strategy. You combine deep SAP expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills and enjoy mentoring others while driving continuous improvement.You'll also bring:

• Extensive experience as a Senior or Principal Functional Analyst supporting SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Deep functional expertise across SAP Finance modules with a strong focus on General Ledger, Controlling, Fixed Assets, Project Systems, Group Reporting and Joint Venture Accounting and associated business processes.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration across SAP modules and across enterprise applications.
• Experience delivering enhancements, business transformation initiatives and production support within complex ERP environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience with ITIL processes and service management principles.Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.SAP S/4HANA certification in SAP Finance will be highly regarded.
