About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Employee Experience team based in Melbourne. You’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of Origin’s cyclical people activities in addition to strategic and commercial projects that are delivered as part of Origin or Business Unit People Plans.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the delivery of P&C events across the organisation including performance and development, annual engagement surveys and Hay debriefs
  • Partnering with the PSP’s and the business to support delivery of the Origin and Divisional People Plans (including P&C Optimisation and other projects as required).
  • Facilitating the implementation of leadership competency tools
  • Identifying opportunities to build self-serve materials to support leadership and cultural requirements and work within the P&C Function in the further development and implementation of resources/ materials to drive greater employee experience

Is This You?

You’ll need to be resilient, customer and solution focused and have strong skills in consultation, influencing and negotiation. You must also hold qualifications in Business/OD/HR or similar.

To be considered you will have:

  • Significant demonstrated experience in a HR role in a large complex organisation– generalist or multiple specialist role experience
  • Proven ability to coach managers and guide them in making sound decisions
  • Confidence to challenge decisions and recommendations where appropriate
  • Strong verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse client group, to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Proven capacity to work in a team environment
  • Experience in continuous improvement and implementing new initiatives
