This is a unique opportunity to join the Retail Optimisation team based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Group Manager, Retail Optimisation, you'll be responsible for establishing and developing technical capabilities required to enable and deliver improved business processes and performance You will also:

  • Establish and deliver technical process enablement capabilities (Data Application Development, AI / Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, Geo Mapping), enabling the delivery of optimised business processes.
  • Establish mechanisms to monitor process health and performance (dashboarding, process mining, process performance management) enabling the business to better target processes for improvement and manage operational performance.
  • Establish and govern the Data Integrity application development lifecycle (ADLC / SDLC) and toolkit, for the consistent development and delivery of data driven applications, and for post-development, a service management framework (ITSM) and operating model.
  • Define and deliver an integrated operating model with broader delivery teams, factoring in best practice governance and full lifecycle management of technical assets.
  • Undertake program management of the Data Integrity project portfolio, with full accountability for delivering programme items on time, on budget, at quality and on target to deliver planned operational benefits.
  • Understand Retail business objectives and Optimisation road-map to evaluate, select and deploy best-fit technologies and associated capabilities for future growth and identify new opportunities pertaining to the use of data & information assets to enhance operational performance and efficiency
  • Serve as a liaison between Business and broader Optimisation team to identify, design and deliver data-based solutions / applications to enable enhanced business processes.

Is This You?

You'll need to be a clear communicator, focused on optimising business processes and technically and commercially savvy. You must also hold qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management equivalent.

You're experienced in and have:

  • Demonstrated understanding of SAP CRM & ISU processes and data structures
  • Knowledge of data governance practices, ADLC / SDLC and service management
  • Demonstrated Experience with cross platform development and infrastructure (e.g. AWS and AWS technologies)
  • Demonstrated experience in leading data and application driven strategies to deliver business results
  • Demonstrated experience in application programming (e.g. SQL, C++, ABAP, PHP or similar)
  • Experience in managing data / application development projects or programmes
  • Knowledge of data governance practices, ADLC / SDLC and service management e.g. ITIL
  • Strong experience in managing data / application development projects or programmes
  • Excellent people leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead high performing and engaged team
