About the role: 

 

The Billing and Market Operations team form part of the broader Retailer Operations and is focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for both our customers and the business across the meter-to-bill process. The Concessions team plays a vital role in managing compliant and high-performance concession processes, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.  

  

Key responsibilities: 

 

  • Lead the concession team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and maximise contributions to operational targets. 

  • Oversee the implementation and monitoring of regulatory and contractual obligations for concessions, ensuring compliance and minimizing commercial risks. 

  • Identify and address any incidents related to concessions, including remediation activities and implementing changes to improve processes, systems, and governance controls. 

  • Analyse concession performance, using insights to develop and implement strategies for continual improvement. 

  • Assist with the preparation, management, and forecasting of the annual budget, ensuring accurate resourcing for concessions activities and assessing financial implications of process or system changes. 

  • Lead agile ways of working facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and performance.   

  • Act as a strategic business partner, influencing key stakeholders and championing customer experience.

  • Strong leadership skills with a people-first approach—you inspire, engage and bring out the best in teams. 

  • Proven ability to streamline operations, drive efficiency, and implement process improvement.  

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills. Covering both written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to present ideas and work collaboratively.  

  • Experience working with KPIs, budgets, operational metrics, and system implementation.
