About the role:

We’re on the hunt for a dynamic and commercially savvy Major Accounts Manager to lead the growth and retention of our Major LPG clients across Victoria and Tasmania. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on building strong customer relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and delivering value through deep industry knowledge and a customer-first approach.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of major LPG accounts across VIC and TAS (100t and over)
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline for greenfield and competitor supplied opportunities.
• Convert acquisition growth opportunities aligned with sales targets.
• Develop strategic account plans that align with customer needs and business objectives
• Negotiate and manage complex commercial contracts with key stakeholders
• Support large scale and complex customer installations in conjunction Service & Installations (S&I) and Operations teams.
• Previously demonstrated senior sales leadership to provide support the technical & commercial knowledge across the regional sales team.
• Develop sales proposals and tender submissions within Origin policy & financial decision making guidelines.

What will you bring?

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure, negotiate, and manage complex deals
• A natural relationship builder who can influence at all levels, from site managers to senior executives
• Proven success in a Major Account Manager role within the LPG, gas, or industrial energy sector
• Strong internal & external stakeholder communication and management skills, including at an executive level.
• Proven working experience in complex projects
• Ability to travel – circa 2 nights a fortnight (covering all of Victoria and Tasmania)
• Ability to juggle competing priorities, work autonomously, and maintain a growth mindset
• Previous experience in the development of successful tenders is desirable.
• CRM experience (salesforce) desirable
• Resilience - change management experience
