About the role:

Our customers come to us at moments that matter - moving home, comparing plans, deciding whether to stay or switch. As an Energy Sales Specialist, you’re the person on the other end of those conversations, helping residential and SME customers find energy and broadband that genuinely works for them.

What will you bring?

This is a Sales role, so while sales experience is not essential, you should bring a collaborative growth mindset, an openness to coaching and be eager to learn about how sales can help Origin customers.You’ll receive two weeks of fully paid, structured training to set you up for success from day one.What else will you bring? 

 

  • Confident written and verbal communication across phone, email and digital channels
  • A lateral thinker who reads a conversation, asks the right questions and adapts
  • Sales and negotiation skills (sales experience preferred but not essential)
  • Resilience and self-management to stay motivated through targets and busy days
  • A competitive mindset and genuine hunger to grow within a high-performing team

 

What to Expect From Our Recruitment Process

1. Application Review - We'll review your application against the role's key requirements and be in touch either way, so you're never left wondering
2. Video Screen - If you're shortlisted, we'll send a short set of questions for you to record in your own time - a chance for us to get to know you before we meet in person
3. Interview - A relaxed, conversational chat with the hiring team about real examples from your experience, and your chance to ask us anything about the role and team
4. Offer & Onboarding - If successful, we'll move quickly to get your offer sorted. This intake is set to start on Monday 19th October, including your 2 weeks of training
