The Role

The Digital Insights Analyst is a key member of the Digital Analytics team and is responsible for providing digital insights and optimisation recommendations to the Sales team that will drive acquisition and retention outcomes. The purpose of this role is to ensure the team are working on features that will drive conversion and engagement uplift; you will also provide end-to-end visibility of project and feature performance. This is a great opportunity to influence stakeholders and be part of a growing Analytics team where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills.

Sitting within our growing Digital team, your typical day to day will involve:

  • Proactively analyse online journeys using Adobe Analytics, provide in-depth insights into user behaviour within the online channel and provide recommendations on optimisation activities. Work as part of the Sales team to define and scope opportunities ensuring the team is working on the highest priority items in terms of improving user experience and providing commercial benefit
  • Lead analytics implementation, providing analytics requirements to developers and utilising a tag management tool for the setup of analytics tracking. Enhance digital analytics capability by recommending additional tracking, optimising existing tracking and building out dashboarding capability in tools such as Power BI / Tableau
  • Working with the Digital Reporting Analyst, ensure the Sales team have visibility on performance and how their projects are contributing to the achievement of digital sales and service targets

Is This You?

You'll be organised, a great communicator, good with financials, and experienced working in digital analytics and utilising Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.

You will have or be able to demonstrate:

  • Exposure to digital environments and ways of working, either directly working for a digital business, or gained through consulting assignments with digital clients or from provision of advisory services to clients deploying digital strategies
  • Experience in being able to assess commercial opportunities
  • Experience in analysing online, marketing and content performance, providing in-depth insights into online user experience and user journeys
  • Curiosity and the willingness to delve into data
  • Technical experience in analytics implementation, and experience or an interest in expanding your technical data skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of best practice in online user experience
  • Proven communication and influencing skills including the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at strategic and operational levels across various business units
  • Good time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
