About the Role


The People Central Solution Designer will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing effectiveness, optimisation, and strategic evolution of the SuccessFactors (Employee Central) platform. Working in close partnership with P&C stakeholders, you will identify, prioritise, and deliver enhancements that improve system capability, streamline processes, and maximise business value.Operating within a DevOps environment, you will play a key role in shaping solution design, balancing technical configuration with process optimisation to deliver sustainable, high-quality outcomes. This role requires a proactive and considered approach, with the ability to navigate complexity, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Own the coordination and delivery of SuccessFactors enhancements across a structured release cycle
  • Configure solutions across the SuccessFactors suite, with a core focus on Employee Central
  • Partner with senior P&C stakeholders to prioritise enhancements and shape release planning
  • Provide subject matter expertise, including product direction and best practice maximising system value and business outcomes
  • Ensure all changes follow formal release, testing, change control processes, maintaining documentation as the single source of truth
  • Provide Tier 3 support and take ownership of complex technical issues and resolutions
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to deliver enhancements in an Agile environment
  • Support broader P&C systems where required, contributing to overall platform capability

 

About You

 

  • Minimum 8 years experience working in a configuration role across the Success Factors Employee Central, Learning Management, Onboarding and Performance & Goals (with at least 5 full EC implementations) 
  • Experience gained in large corporate organisations within the Energy Industry, solid understanding of HR and Talent Management, best practice as well as IT project life cycle experience. 
  • Comfortable operating as the go-to SME—people come to you for answers, not the other way around
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and how to translate them into scalable system solutions
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders—you can influence, challenge, and prioritise effectively
  • Able to balance competing demands and make calls on what gets delivered and when
  • Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
