The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Retail Optimisation team based in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Manager, Continuous Improvement, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the delivery of prioritised business improvement programs and projects to optimise business processes in line with Retail strategy
  • Establishing and implementing appropriate program management governance, methods and controls appropriate to the size and nature of the programme of work
  • Development and use of core project / programme management artefacts (inc project plans, change impact assessments, communications plans, proceed frameworks etc.,) and leading project / improvement workshops and implementation of process changes within the impacted business areas
  • Application of Lean / Six Sigma, DMAIC and similar CI methodologies as the project delivery methodology
  • Ensuring project activities are prioritised in line with business imperatives, including responding to changes in businesses
  • Managing the performance of the project team deliverables, including reporting and insight into project activities
  • Develop measurable business cases in order to track realisation of benefits that derive from the business improvements and projects
  • Supporting and advocating a Continuous Improvement culture
  • Managing post-implementation activities including: benefits tracking, status reporting, process model updates, project closure reporting and handover plans

Is This You?

You’ll need to be outcome and customer focussed, able to multitask and be passionate about change. You must also hold qualifications in Business, IT or Project Management, or be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role.

You’re experienced in and have:

  • Project management qualifications (e.g. Prince2 / PMBOK) and demonstrated project & programme management delivery experience
  • Lean Six Sigma / DMAIC / BPI methodology qualifications and demonstrated experience.
  • Internal and External Stakeholder management, including navigate and influence with the organisations stakeholder matrix
  • Ability to undertake data analysis and solve complex business problems
  • Exceptional customer and stakeholder orientation to drive stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated operational and cross functional experience
  • Demonstrated skill in designing and conducting processes for meetings and workshops
  • High level of flexibility and ability to easily adjust plans to meet changing business requirements, priorities & Timeline
  • Understanding of our customer base, segments, critical touch points and our processes & interconnections
