The Role

Join Origin Energy's LPG Distribution Team in Mackay as we continue investing in gas and condensate exploration and production.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity for a dedicated individual to become part of our tight-knit LPG Distribution Team. We are committed to prioritising safety, customer satisfaction, and fostering career growth opportunities for our employees. Reporting to the Terminal Manager, you'll be responsible for the effective and safe delivery of LPG to domestic and commercial customers.

Standard hours: 06:00 AM – 2:06 PM Monday to Friday (plus regular overtime)

Daily tasks will include:

• Safely conduct LPG cylinder deliveries
• Loading and unloading of bulk LPG at the Terminal
• Maintain stock of tested LPG cylinders and perform necessary repairs and retests
• Meter readings
• Providing a great experience for all customers
• General terminal labouring

About You

To thrive in this role, we require the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience and a valid license as a Medium Rigid (MR) driver
• Possess or willing to obtain a Dangerous Goods license
• Proven track record in customer service-focused delivery roles
• Strong commitment to safety culture with a safety-first mindset
• Strong physical fitness and ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including repetitive lifting of 25kg cylinders and manoeuvring cylinders weighing up to 85kg (trolleys will be provided)
• Experience in handling Hazardous Substances
