About the role:  

The Work Management, Planning & Scheduling Lead is responsible for providing strategic, cultural, and operational leadership to the Eraring maintenance teams. This role will oversee the implementation and governance of our Generation, Work of Management procedures ensuring effective maintenance planning and scheduling that supports safe reliable operations. The role will own the development and governance of the site maintenance budget. The Lead will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders working in a team of teams approach to manage work programs and achieve high levels of plant reliability and availability

 

Key responsibilities?  

  • Ensure compliance with relevant Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) laws, standards, policies, and procedures, while actively engaging in Origin Energy’s HSE systems and protocols.
  • Leverage the Origin People & Capability framework to set clear expectations and develop a workforce with the values, behaviours, skills, and competencies needed to perform effectively.
  • Own the maintenance HSE performance and event management processes, ensuring investigations are completed to the right standard and actions prevent recurrence.
  • Implement and govern the Generation, Management of Work procedures, ensuring routines and processes support the safe execution of maintenance to deliver required levels of plant reliability and availability.
  • Foster effective communication and relationships with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage the annual Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) budget, ensuring responsible cost management while maintaining plant reliability and availability.
  • Build a continuous improvement mindset across the Origin maintenance teams, lead and coach CI activities to drive safety, culture, productivity and cost improvements across the operation.

 

What will you bring?  

  • Proven leadership at Superintendent level or working within a relevant role and ready for the next level.
  • Experience in leading teams, developing capability, and manage work effectively
  • High level capability in utilising SAP and application of Work Management systems
  • Proven ability in building positive team culture and recognising team members for their contribution
  • Relevant engineering qualification, trade, or experience for effective role execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability in building positive team culture and recognising team members for their contribution.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and experience in delivering CI initiatives.
  • Experience in contractor management, Permit to Work systems.
