P&C Project Administrator - Eraring Transition

THE ROLE

The Origin People & Culture team are a valued and trusted partner and advisor who make it easier for our Origin people to deliver on our energy transition faster by applying Origin’s culture, inclusion and experiences.

With the rapid shift towards cleaner forms of generation, we recently confirmed our intention to retire our coal-fired Eraring Power Station (NSW) in mid-2025.

Based in Eraring, this 3 day per week limited term contract until August 2025 will be key to facilitating effective project coordination to the Eraring Transition Team.

 

In this role you will:

  • Collate and analyse data for the preparation of submissions and reports
  • Manage and track the budget
  • Prepare and review submissions and reports concerning activities and milestones.
  • Organise and communicate project activities and provide detailed updates to team and other stakeholders
  • Provide efficient and effective administrative and project delivery support (taking notes, organising meetings/workshops, documenting meeting minutes)
  • Provide support to workstreams in coordinating and supporting stakeholder engagement activities
  • Help to create and manage project governance, reporting, maintain the risk register etc
  • Responding to enquiries and resolving problems concerning contracts, services, and project related issues.
  • Manage and coordinate activities with external vendors and internal business units.
  • Work closely with the Eraring transition team to drive initiatives

 

IS THIS YOU?

The successful applicant will have outstanding organisational, planning and communication skills, and can work to strict deadlines and demonstrated experience in managing project controls such as financials, reporting, tracking, etc and the management of project artefact documentation

 

You will also have, or be able to show:

  • Technology savvy - advanced use of Microsoft applications including SharePoint
  • Strong listener and communicator and able to work with quality and pace
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

 

It would be advantageous if you also had or could demonstrate:

  • Formal training or certification in project management methodology
  • Energetic and engaging presenter
  • Vendor management
  • Previously worked in a large, matrix organisation
