About the role:

As a Power Worker, you’ll be a key member of the maintenance team, supporting a wide range of tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the station. You’ll work closely with tradespeople and supervisors, contributing to both routine and specialist maintenance activities. Flexibility in roster and a proactive attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant and overhead cranes, including forklifts, EWPs, and bobcats
• Perform advanced rigging tasks and assist with Turbine/Auxiliary Maintenance Scopes and all site Lubrication Requirements.
• Support tradespeople with basic tool work and electrical maintenance tasks
• Supervise contractors and contribute to inventory control and general cleaning
• Drive trucks and provide administrative support to the maintenance team

What will you bring?

• A current driver’s licence and willingness to work shifts or day work as required (day worker 6.30am – 14.47pm Mon – Fri with occasional additional hours)
• Proven ability to work safely, independently, and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in maintenance support functions and use of basic hand tools
• Familiarity with WHS systems, Origin Energy procedures, and Access to Apparatus Rules (ATAR)
• Desirable licences and certifications such as Advanced Rigging, Mobile Crane, Forklift, EWP, WAH and Confined Space.
