About the role:

This is a hands‑on Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) role where you’ll own and manage critical electrical systems, not just individual assets. You’ll apply practical engineering judgement to keep power generation, distribution and protection systems safe, reliable and fit for purpose in a complex operating environment.

  • Key Stakeholder in the technical integrity of electrical systems across generation, distribution and protection
  • Provide practical engineering input into maintenance strategies, defects, outages and modifications
  • Lead investigations and root cause analysis to address system issues and prevent recurrence
  • Support Management of Change (MOC) and embed technical risk outcomes into standards
  • Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE and contractors

 

What will you bring?

 

  • Electrical engineering experience in power generation or heavy industry
  • A practical, system‑based mindset with strong engineering judgement
  • Experience in maintenance engineering, project engineering or technical coordination roles
  • Confidence to engage, challenge and influence across teams, with a collaborative and constructive approach.
  • A proactive, values‑led attitude with strong communication skills
