About the role:

With the rapid shift towards cleaner forms of generation, Origin Energy has confirmed our intention to retire our coal-fired Eraring Power Station (NSW). This role provides high level business and project administrative support to the team at the forefront of the Eraring People Transition support function.

Why this role matters?  

Based in Eraring, this limited term contract until August 2025, role will:

  • Provide general administration support to the Eraring Transition Team, including invoice receipting and processing, raising and tracking purchase orders, general account enquiries
  • Support the management and tracking of the budget
  • Expense management, including allocating and processing expense receipts and ensuring expense compliance and timely lodgement
  • Liaise with employees to obtain training invoices and receipts
  • Ensure and maintain effective systems to track payments
  • Track and record the attendance of people at events and initiatives
  • Monitor shared mailboxes and other communication channels, ensuring people receive timely and effective responses
  • Collate and report FBT requirements as agreed with the corporate tax team
  • Provide efficient and effective administrative and project delivery support (taking notes, organising meetings/workshops, documenting meeting minutes)
  • Event management support, including room bookings, arranging equipment, delegate management, catering and diary management

 

 

What will you bring?  

  • outstanding organisational, planning and communication skills, and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting teams’ administration such as diary management, reporting, tracking, etc
  • Technology savvy - advanced use of Microsoft applications including advanced Excel and SharePoint, intermediate PowerPoint
  • Strong listener and communicator and able to work with quality and pace
  • Strong communication
  • Proven track record of excellent communication to employees and customers
  • Tertiary qualifications in business administration are an advantage
  • Previously worked in a large, matrix organisation
