The Role


Exciting opportunities have become available within our National Response Centre (NRC) team. To support the on-going growth of the business, NRC is currently recruiting for a number of Response Officer Positions. 


Our services are geared towards the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of our customer's people and their assets and are designed to provide highly reliable, robust, responsive and streamlined solutions through specially trained Response Officers. 


  • Inbound emergency and fault call management 
  • Responding to our clients/customers calls relating to gas/water leaks 
  • Appointment scheduling and dispatch 
  • Inbound service call management and the associated outbound dispatch activity 
  • A range of safety monitoring services including: journey management, lone worker, fatigue management, confined space entry and In Vehicle Management System (IVMS) response to critical alerts, incident notification and reporting, SCADA telemetry plant alarm monitoring, mobilisation of crisis and group emergency management teams and early warning network alerts of fires, floods and significant weather events to field based personnel 
  • You will be required to work each shift on a rotational basis 
  • Adhering to defined processes when accurately logging queries


You will be required to work each shift on a rotational basis:


Permanent Part Time  

  • Variety of roster templates, each of which offer flexibility 

  • Part Time, Monday – Sunday  

  • 28 hours per week 

Is This You?


You should have followings skills and attributes: 


  • Strong experience in the delivery of a quality customer service outcome 
  • Fast-paced response and service call centre environment experience highly regarded 
  • Motivated by working in a challenging and busy environment  
  • High computer literacy with excellent data entry skills and a keen eye for detail 
  • An ability to adhere to business processes and operational instructions 
  • Flexibility approach to your work and be able to work as part of a team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers 
  • Ability to work in high pressure environment, diligence, work to tight frames and attention to detail is a key requirement 
  • Adaptability: to think on your feet, be flexible with changes and to be able to work a rotating roster is also a key requirement 
  • An Emergency services, Dispatch or Service orientated background would be highly regarded, but not necessary
