The role

 

In this role you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of regional stakeholders (including current and future landholders) to deliver a high level of community acceptance of Origin’s activities in the Western Downs & Maranoa region.

You’ll manage a portfolio of landholder relationships from first contact through negotiations, construction and end of operational life to ensure Origin can gain and maintain access to its tenure areas.

The Stakeholder Liaison primary role is to: 

  • Maintain stakeholder relationships through ongoing communication (both structured and informal) to keep stakeholders informed of Origin activity across all time horizons.
  • Prepare key documentation related to landholder relationship management
  • Support Origin’s End-to-End process for CSG field development and introduce other Origin personnel into the relationship as required
  • Support the delivery of access, agreements and compensation outcomes.

 

About you

 

You will come with significant experience in stakeholder relations and building relationships together with excellent business acumen, analytical skills and the ability to think creatively. 

Required skills

  • Good knowledge of legalities relevant to the CSG industry and land access
  • Strong ability to build and develop relationships with wide range of internal and external stakeholders

Preferred but not essential skills include:

  • Understanding of agriculture industry
  • Ability to problem solve through consideration of stakeholder and business requirements and develop and deliver solutions for business issues.
  • Degree preferably in Law, Finance, Commerce, Business or Agriculture
