About the role:

Are you energised by complex turbine challenges and the chance to work hands‑on with major generation assets? As our Senior Turbine Engineer, you’ll apply your deep turbine expertise to optimise performance, reliability and lifecycle planning across a diverse fleet.

Whether your background is in power generation or LNG, you’ll play a key role in shaping asset decisions, improving plant performance and supporting safe, successful outages.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and refine turbine asset strategies that enhance reliability, lifecycle value and operational performance.
• Provide technical turbine expertise during outages, maintenance events and complex operational challenges.
• Conduct turbine inspections, borescopes, condition assessments and monitoring — turning data into meaningful insights.
• Scope, challenge and provide technical assurance for turbine overhaul activities and quality outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with site teams and engineering groups to troubleshoot issues and drive improvements.

What will you bring?

• Mechanical Engineering Degree - Accredited to the Washington Accord
• Turbine engineering experience in a power generation or LNG, process, or other heavy industry setting.
• RPEQ or equivalent; or commitment to achieve this within 12 months of joining team
• Proven capability in developing reliability‑focused asset strategies for rotating equipment and turbine systems.
• Strong exposure to gas and/or steam turbine platforms (GE, MHI, Siemens, LM-series experience highly regarded).
• Comfortable leading technical decisions, managing outage scopes, and providing engineering assurance under pressure.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to partner across diverse teams, mentor others, and work autonomously when required.
• Availability for short-term interstate travel at short notice
• Commitment to support outages and projects interstate for extended periods of time up to 6-8 weeks.
