Why this role matters

• Champion asset integrity across the lifecycle by leading inspections, maintenance improvements, and equipment optimisation.
• Drive high‑value engineering and operational projects, balancing scope, time, cost, and stakeholder priorities with confidence.
• Produce and approve detailed technical deliverables, from drawings and calculations to inspection strategies and project scopes.
• Bring your expertise to safety and risk processes including HAZOP, HAZID, RBI, LOPA, and incident investigations.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure technical excellence and compliance.

What will you bring?

• A Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent) with 7+ years’ experience in asset integrity or operational engineering.
• Industry background in oil & gas, pipelines, or chemical processing, with solid understanding of pipes, pumps, valves, and mechanical systems.
• Deep knowledge of relevant industry codes, pressure equipment, piping, mechanical integrity, and dangerous goods compliance.
• A track record of leading engineering projects, influencing diverse stakeholders, and delivering smart, practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills supported by strong analytical thinking and a calm, methodical approach to problem‑solving.
• RPEQ accreditation (or willingness to achieve it), plus the adaptability and drive to thrive in a fast‑paced, improvement‑focused environment.
• Some site travel is required for this role based on operational demand.
