About the role:

Play an active role and be responsible for development of Green-field and Brown-field projects up to and in excess of $500million. Your role would include concept design, feasibility technical design due diligence, tendering, and involvement in contractual negotiations with suppliers and contractors.

Why this role matters:

• Responsible for project Inputs prior to FID (Final Investment Decision)
• Carry out feasibility studies and technical design review to made recommendations that optimise output and minimise risk.
• Support the regulatory process including development approvals and supporting documentation.
• Communicate and co-ordinate with different parts of the Origin business to achieve the project outcome
• Leading detailed and thorough analysis of technical opportunities and solutions
• Manage project consultancy and Origin costs to meet team budgets and project requirements

What will you bring?

• Significant relevant experience in the Energy sector with multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving.
• A multi-disciplinary technical and project skillset, including an understanding of commercial modelling and analysis
• Electrical Engineering / Engineering trade qualifications with a minimum of 10yrs experience
• The ability to lead and mentor the development specialists in the Asset Development Team from within.
• Previous experience with BESS, solar or wind projects is highly desired.
• Ability to travel to sites from time to time
