About the role

At Origin Zero, we accelerate clean energy adoption for commercial and industrial clients. We're seeking a Program Delivery Manager to oversee complex renewable energy projects, ensuring they benefit customers and communities.

This position manages multiple solar, battery storage, EV charging, and distributed energy initiatives. You’ll lead a project team, oversee contracts and contractors, and serve as the main client contact to ensure safe, timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of multiple large‑scale renewable energy projects
• Own project safety, quality, cost, schedule and contractual outcomes
• Manage contractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure compliant delivery
• Act as the primary client interface, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
• Identify, manage and mitigate delivery, commercial and regulatory risks
• Provide strong leadership to project teams, driving performance and accountability

What will you bring?

You influence outcomes without formal authority, aligning clients, contractors and teams to deliver complex projects through strong communication and trusted relationships.

You apply sound judgement under pressure, confidently balancing safety, risk, cost and timelines to make clear, timely decisions in complex environments. You will also demonstrate:

• experience delivering construction projects in a highly regulated environment
• Proven success managing complex projects to time, cost, quality and safety targets
• Strong HSE leadership and commercial acumen, including contract interpretation
• Qualifications in engineering, project management or a related discipline
• Confidence engaging with councils, network providers, regulators and suppliers
• Experience in renewable energy, electrical infrastructure or energy technologies (highly regarded)
• Exposure to Principal or Head Contractor obligations and project delivery systems
