About the role:

 

The production planner is a member of a high-performing and well-regarded Integrated Planning team within the Supply and Technology unit, specifically the Short- Term Portfolio Planning team. This role is where the upstream production planning intersects with commercial portfolio optimisation levers.   

 

The key purpose of this role is to assess, develop and execute production processes to maximise the value of APLNG’s operating portfolio, and understanding and challenging the assets to optimise their production plans for portfolio value. You will also be a focal point of collaboration for matters relating to APLNG's sales gas and LNG portfolio, and provide the CSG & LNG Marketing teams with analysis and optimisation of market and portfolio opportunities to ensure APLNG meets its firm contractual commitments. 

 

This role works in collaboration with the asset Production Planners and Production Managers, Asset Services, Supply & Technology teams particularly CSGM, and the Integrated Marketing forum (APLNG, LNG Marketing and Downstream Operator) to ensure the success of the whole of the Integrated Gas division.

Someone who is interested in working closely with the other Integrated Planning teams (Long-Term Planning, and Economics) to broaden their skills and expertise will be valued. 

 

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver presentations, and in presenting and communicating at senior management level. 
  • Ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations to all levels including senior management 
  • Demonstrated experience of  excel and other modelling proficiency 
  • Demonstrated process mindset. 
  • Proficiency in handling and conducting in-depth analysis on vast datasets utilizing advanced data management techniques and tools 
  • Ability to solve complex process problems and be able to demonstrate critical thinking
