About the role:

Step into a leadership role where your work helps safely and reliably ensure the flow of gas across the network as a whole. As a Panel Supervisor in our Brisbane Central Control Room (BCCR), you’ll guide and support a diverse team to optimise gas flows, maintain safe operations, and drive ongoing improvement across our integrated network. You’ll play a key role in operational readiness, building capability, coaching team members, and creating an inclusive, engaged culture. You’ll also help shape the future of BCCR through process optimisation, technology integration and continuous improvement initiatives—while keeping people, safety and performance at the forefront.

• Lead shift teams to operate assets safely, reliably and within safe operating limits.
• Promote visible safety leadership, ensuring adherence to safety, fatigue and compliance frameworks.
• Support and develop team capability through coaching, guidance and workforce planning.
• Provide panel coverage across pipelines, wells and facilities to maintain continuity and operational readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to operational transformation across BCCR.
• Day/Night rotating roster with 12 day break in each 5 week cycle.

• Established history of strong leadership and cultivating a thriving workplace culture
• Experience in control room or remote operations, with the ability to lead and empower others.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, operational technology and incident response.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage complex, competing priorities.
• A collaborative approach, openness to diverse perspectives and a commitment to finding better ways of working.
