The role

An exciting opportunity to join the Brisbane based Brisbane Central Control Room team is now available. As the BCCR Panel Operator, you will be responsible for all control and monitoring duties, this role will ensure all equipment throughout Integrated Gas sites are operated in a safe and reliable condition and in accordance with all relevant operating procedures and safe operating envelopes. This role is responsible for meeting all production targets, nominations and response to unplanned events, notification, escalation and management of production and emergency situations.

More about the role

• Safe operation of all field and facility assets throughout the Integrated Gas Upstream Operations

• Respond appropriately to alarms, rectification of alarmed situation, escalate / initiate and coordinate site operator response as necessary

• Adjusting operating setpoints and optimise assets as necessary to deliver /produce daily gas nominations as per the production plan

• Manage transfer of control between Control room and site locations via transfer protocols

• Manage maintenance / start-up override via process safety override procedures

• Conduct remote start-up / shutdown / optimisation of assets as required

• Monitor well operation and performance
  
  

About you

A solution orientated professional known for excelling under pressure and finding creative solutions to any problem at hand. You will have an eye for detail and love working in a collaborative and cross functional team.

More about you

• 5+ years experience in control room OR remote operations

• Experience in oil and gas production operations

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong problem solving skills to enable resolution of administrative, operational or maintenance issues

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as well as being able to work independently
