About the role:

The OT Drafter sits within Origin’s Networks, Operational Technology & Delivery (NOTD) function, supporting critical telecommunications and operational technology infrastructure that enables Origin’s energy operations and transition to net zero.

Working under the direction of project teams, you’ll use advanced Revit and AutoCAD skills to produce and backdraft technical deliverables across multiple telecommunications infrastructure projects.

The role partners closely with internal technical teams and Document Control to ensure accurate, compliant drawings that support successful project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support telecommunications and operational technology infrastructure projects within the NOTD function.
• Produce and backdraft technical drawings using advanced Revit and AutoCAD skills.
• Deliver accurate, compliant drafting artefacts aligned to project and Origin standards.
• Work under the direction of project teams to support installation and project completion.
• Liaise with internal technical stakeholders to gather inputs and resolve design queries.
• Coordinate with Document Control to manage drawing numbers, natives, and document uploads.

Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience supporting telecommunications or operational technology infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for technical drafting and backdrafting.
• Strong attention to detail, producing accurate and standards-compliant drafting artefacts.
• Ability to work effectively under direction within project delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate with technical teams and resolve design queries.
• Experience working with document control systems, including managing drawing numbers and native files.
• Electrical certification and/or relevant qualifications highly desirable.
