About the role 

Origin’s Enterprise Risk & Assurance team plays a critical role in enabling confident decision making across the business. We’re seeking an experienced data and analytics leader to define and deliver the enterprise Risk & Assurance Data Strategy, strengthening how risk information is governed, analysed and used by senior leaders. 

 

This is a high impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data strategy, governance, advanced analytics and executive engagement. Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Setting and delivering the enterprise Risk & Assurance data and analytics strategy 

  • Establishing strong governance across risk data, definitions, quality and lineage 

  • Designing and delivering executive‑ready dashboards and insight solutions 

  • Providing clear, actionable risk insights to senior leaders and governance committees 

  • Driving automation and AI‑enabled analytics to improve efficiency and timeliness 

  • Leading and uplifting risk data and analytics capability across the function. 

 

What will you bring?  

You’ll bring strong judgement, confidence engaging senior stakeholders and the ability to influence through insight. Comfortable navigating ambiguity, you can balance rigour with pragmatism while shaping enterprise‑wide outcomes. You will be a clear communicator who tells compelling stories with data and builds trusted relationships at senior levels. You will also be able to demonstrate. 

  • Experience in senior data, analytics or insights roles 

  • Proven ownership and execution of a data strategy 

  • Strong background in risk, assurance or governance reporting 

  • Advanced dashboarding and data visualisation experience (Power BI preferred) 

  • Ability to translate complex data into decision‑ready insights 

  • Confident stakeholder engagement at senior and executive level
