About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on people leader to lead the delivery of data and analytics outcomes across Integrated Gas. This role will lead a multidisciplinary team across data engineering, analytics and visualisation, ensuring the business can confidently use trusted data to drive operational and commercial decisions.

You’ll combine strong leadership capability with delivery credibility, guiding teams through the end-to-end delivery of data products while building a culture focused on quality, continuous improvement and customer value.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution — leading people, shaping delivery standards and driving modern, data and AI-enabled ways of working that create measurable value for the business and our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team across data engineering, analytics and delivery.
  • Drive the end-to-end delivery of data products including dashboards, self-service analytics, governed data assets and reporting solutions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to prioritise initiatives and deliver outcomes aligned to operational and commercial value.
  • Champion a forward-thinking data and AI mindset, identifying opportunities to improve decision making, automation and business performance.
  • Manage delivery plans, risks and priorities while balancing speed, scalability and sustainability.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and customer-centric thinking across the team and broader business.
  • Manage cost of data platforms to budget, e.g. Snowflake, Databricks

 

About You

You are an experienced people leader with a strong background in delivery, data, analytics and a passion for building capable, engaged teams. You bring a hands-on leadership style and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to support delivery outcomes when needed.

You thrive in high impact environments where you can influence strategy while remaining close to execution. You’re commercially minded, outcome-focused and able to translate technical capability into meaningful business and customer value.

You’ll also bring:

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary data or analytics teams ideally gained in complex or operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), and analytics delivery
  • The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across both business and technology teams.
  • A proactive and future-focused mindset with an interest in emerging data and AI capabilities.
  • Strong communication, coaching and prioritisation skills.
