About the role:

As the Hydrocarbon Accounting & Sustainability Lead, you will guide a team responsible for ensuring the integrity, compliance and continuous improvement of hydrocarbon accounting, emissions reporting and sustainability performance across Integrated Gas. You’ll collaborate closely with Operations, APLNG and corporate sustainability teams to deliver accurate, trusted data that supports regulatory obligations, JV requirements and informed decision‑making. This role provides a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with strategic influence while contributing to Origin’s sustainability ambitions.

• Ensures accurate, consistent and compliant hydrocarbon and emissions reporting across Integrated Gas.
• Maintains alignment with NGER, the Safeguard Mechanism and other regulatory and internal reporting frameworks.
• Translates complex technical and data‑driven insights into clear, actionable information for senior decision‑makers.
• Supports emissions‑reduction tracking and value‑focused decision making across the business.
• Drives improvements in data quality, processes, governance, controls and reporting efficiency.

What will you bring?

• Qualifications in Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of hydrocarbon accounting, emissions reporting and relevant regulatory frameworks (NGER, Safeguard Mechanism).
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights for varied audiences.
• Excellent collaboration and relationship‑management skills, with the ability to influence across multidisciplinary teams.
• High attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills and confidence engaging with senior leaders.
