About the role

We are looking for a Cost Controller to join our Asset Services Commercial team as a Cost Controller! You'll take ownership of cost control, reporting, and analysis-partnering with project, procurement, and operational teams to deliver insights that shape decisions and improve outcomes.

More about the role:

• Lead cost reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Analyse spend, identify trends, and spot cost-saving opportunities
• Guide and support team members, sharing your expertise
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive cost accountability and process improvements
• Use tools like SAP, Prism G2, and Excel to deliver accurate, actionable insights

What will you bring?

You will role model Origin’s values, be self-driven, with ability to be proactive and take initiative. A team player with ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of people across levels, building positive, productive working relationships.

More about you 

• 5+ years' experience in cost control, finance, or project controls (oil & gas or large projects a plus)
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with SAP/Oracle/Prism G2
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• A proactive, collaborative approach and passion for driving performance
